Nadine "Djingha" Desormeau Instructor / Dancer / Registered Yoga Teacher 200hrs Hailing from Miami, FL of Haitian descent, Nadine has studied under the tutelage of Manno Merisier, former performer with the National Folkloric Ballet of Haiti. She performed with Ayizan Kreyol Dance Troupe before relocating to Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition to 10 years of Afro-Haitian Dance, Nadine continues to train in West African, Flamenco, Ballet and Modern forms of dance. Currently pursuing her 2nd Bachelor's Degree in Dance, Nadine is also a practicing Yogini, Performing Artist, Organizer and Educator. Nadine performs and teaches traditional Haitian dance with Racine Kreyol Drum and Dance. |

Shirley Sainte Fitness Instructor / Dancer Originally from Brooklyn, NY, of Haitian descent, Shirley has extensive experience in dance and performing arts. She currently teaches aerobic dance and exercise fitness as she pursues a careet as a fitness competitor. Presently residing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Shirley also works as a creative hair designer. Shirley performs and teaches Haitian Dance with Racine Kreyol Drum and Dance. |

Duke Germain Born and raised in Haiti, Duke emigrated to the US in 1977 at age 15, via Brooklyn, NY. He later moved to NM in 1990 to obtain an BA in Architecture.
Duke presently resides in Albuquerque, NM, where he is and his wife are raising three beautiful children.
The leader of Compas/Reggae Band, Racine Kreyol, Duke sings lead, plays tenor sax and congas.
He also plays traditional Haitian drums for the Racine Kreyol Drum and Dance. |
